Game Recap

Four was Katie Agatucci’s theme Friday night. As East’s starting pitcher she scattered four Person hits over seven innings. As East’s #4 hitter in the line up her four hits helped lead Wildcats past Person 11-3. Agatucci singled in the first, doubled in the second, doubled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

An early lead helped propel East to victory. The Wildcats captured the lead in the first inning. In the bottom of the first inning, Person tied things up at two. An error scored one run for Person. The Wildcats took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning as they sent the entire all nine batters to the plate.

Agatucci earned the win for Wildcats. She threw a complete game surrendering three runs on four hits while striking out ten. Reaves took the loss for Person. She went two innings, giving up seven runs, four hits. She walked one and hit another. Sullivan moved into the circle and pitched 5 innings in relief.
