Wildcats’s Kennihan Throws No-Hitter To Defeat Riverside-Durham

Wildcats secured the victory thanks to 13 runs in the first inning. Wildcats’s offense in the inning came from singles by Claire Pedersen, Katie Characklis, Kayla Characklis, Shelby Swanson, and Characklis, a walk by Pedersen, a triple by Grace Vincent, and an error on a ball put in play by Katie Agatucci.
Kennihan led things off on the rubber for Wildcats. She went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out six. The lone baserunner allowed reached on error.
