Wildcats Can’t Hold Up Against Cedar Ridge

Friday was a long day for Wildcats, falling to Cedar Ridge 8-1.

Cedar Ridge scored five runs in the fourth inning. Amy Stutzer, Tori Dalehite, Taylor Ruhl, and Rivers Andrews each had RBIs in the frame.

Andrews was the winning pitcher for Cedar Ridge. She allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine.

Katie Agatucci took the loss for Wildcats. She surrendered eight runs on six hits over five innings, striking out four.

Geena Kennihan, Agatucci, and Claire Pedersen each collected one hit to lead Wildcats.

Cedar Ridge racked up six hits on the day. Ruhl and Kara Wagoner each collected multiple hits for Cedar Ridge. Cedar Ridge didn’t commit a single error in the field. Catcher Kymberlie Thacker had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
